Worship

What is worship?:

Worship is a way of showing extreme love and adoration for something or someone particularly gods. Of course we should only worship our Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ. But unfortunately many people can worship in a lot of bad ways, by worshiping false idols, other gods and also can even be money. But as Christians we go to Church every Sunday and we come across many different types of worship, such as Prayer, singing, and sermons.

Why we worship?:

We worship to give God all the glory he deserves and learn more about his Holy word, this way we can build a personal relationship with him. We also create a communion with other believers at Church and learn more on God’s word from each other. There are many Bible references’ on why we should worship, I think Romans 12 v1 sums it up well when it says “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service”. I think this tells us that it’s our duty to go to Church and worship our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
