This year instead of giving out the usual pink forms for feedback at the end of a unit, we are using an online form. You will see this form on Moodle for each unit that you are studying. Please be assured that when we collate and read your feedback, you will remain completely anonymous. Individual students will not be identifiable by either name or student number. Electronic collection of feedback will, we hope, enable us to assess trends and make appropriate responses more efficiently and quickly, as well as reporting these more accurately. The form itself was developed during last year by staff in response to the Quality Assurance Agency review process, and is a bit longer than previously.
We really need student feedback if we are to be continued to develop and improve our teaching, so we would be grateful for your time in completing the form. We hope that it will also be helpful to you as you review your learning from the unit. As before, we will give you some time at the end of the last class of the unit to complete the form in class. You will need to do this on your own electronic device. But if you don’t have one with you, or if you have to miss the class, or want to spend more time completing the form, the ‘window’ for submitting the form online opens on 11 December and doesn’t close till 19 January, so you have the opportunity to complete it at another time if necessary, and we hope you will do so.
